Ryanair check in times have recently changed(November 2016) Passengers are required to check-in online via Ryanair's website or App - failure to do so will result in passengers facing a Charge at the Airport. (Excluding business plus)
The online check in opens from 60 days up to 2 hours prior to flight if you have purchased allocated seating in addition to your basic flight ticket.
Those passengers who have not made the upgrade to allocated seating are now restricted to 48 hours up to 2 hours prior to each flight.
This recent change in Ryanair's check in policy therefore means that passengers away for 2 days or more will need to find an internet cafe/ connection and printer to check in for their return Ryanair flight.
Failing to check in online or to produce a boarding pass will incur fees at the Airport. To date these fees stand at £55 per person each way for an Airport check in or £25 per person for a Ryanair boarding pass to be issued at the Airport. Manchester Airport, Leeds and Bradford, Luton, Prestwick or London Gatwick are no exception.
You have to print out your boarding pass or download it via the Ryanair check in app prior to arriving at the Airport.
